USTP welcomes Mountain View College for benchmark best practices

In strengthening academic partnership, the Mountain View College cordially visited the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) for benchmarking best practices led by Dr. Carthy Joy T. Aguillon, from MVC, at the Office of the Chancellor, USTP Claveria on May 7, 2026. The activity was organized to strengthen academic programs, particularly in research, innovation, and extension, while also providing the visiting delegation an opportunity to gain deeper appreciation of the campus environment and institutional practices of the university.

During the visit, both institutions engaged in the exchange of information on university operations, best practices, and academic management systems. The discussion highlighted shared interests in enhancing program delivery, improving institutional efficiency, and advancing collaborative opportunities in higher education. University officials welcomed the delegation and emphasized the importance of benchmarking activities in fostering continuous improvement, innovation, and academic excellence across institutions. Meanwhile, representatives from Mountain View College expressed appreciation for the learning experience gained during the visit, noting that the insights gathered would contribute to further strengthening of their own institutional programs and initiatives.
