USTP CDO Library conducts Book Fair 2022

Ms. Remedios B. Janier, Director of Library and Audio-Visual Services (LAVS) for the USTP Cagayan de Oro (CDO) campus, led her unit in successfully conducting the BOOK FAIR 2022. The event, held at the USTP CDO Main Library, 3rd Floor LRC Building, began on May 17, 2022, and ended on May 19, 2022.

The three-day activity kicked off with a short program featuring invited book exhibitors from Cagayan de Oro City, Manila, Cebu City, and Davao. Faculty, librarians, and key officials from the USTP System also participated in the event.
The Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Services (OVCSAS) of the USTP CDO campus, Dr. Maria Angeles D. Hinosolango, shared her gratitude for the presence of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), Dr. Maria Elena L. Paulma, who gave an inspirational talk and led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, as well as the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (VCAA), Dr. Amparo V. Dinagsao, who provided unwavering support to the project. The OVCSAS also expressed her thanks to all of the college deans, department chairs, faculty, and staff who participated in their endeavor.
Because faculty members play such an important part in the Library’s collection development, the Book Fair was organized to establish a well-balanced collection and encourage faculty members to examine and maximize books for their curricular programs.
