Dr. Leonel L. Pabilona is a Mechanical Engineer by profession. He obtained his Doctor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering both in MSU-IIT, Iligan City. He has been a faculty in the college for mechanical engineering since 1999 and was designated as department chairman for several times prior to being currently designated as the college dean. He is currently ranked as Professor 4 and has continued being a faculty handling both undergraduate and graduate students for the college.

He has specialized in fluid dynamics and has several studies published, presented and indexed in ISI and Scopus. His papers were also presented both in local and international conferences. In terms of instruction, he has taught several mechanical engineering major subjects related to his specialization and engineering mathematics. His interest since he was young is solving mathematical problems and always fond of numbers. He is also known to his students for being consistent in imposing discipline and demeanor in or out of the classroom.
